1. What is resolution
For bar code scanner, resolution is the narrowest bar code symbol width, English is MINIMAL BAR WIDTH, abbreviated MBW, unit is mil.
Generally, the resolution of scanning gun is 5mil, 4mil and 3mil. 5.What is the first recognition rate
The one-time recognition rate represents the ratio of the number of bar codes successfully scanned for the first time to the total number of bar codes scanned.For example, if information about a bar code needs to be scanned twice for every successful scan, the recognition rate is 50%.From a practical point of view, of course, we hope that each scan will be successful, but unfortunately, due to the influence of many factors, it is impossible to require a recognition rate of 100%.
It should be noted that the one-time recognition rate is only applicable to the handheld light pen scanning recognition method.With laser scanning, the beam can scan the bar code tag hundreds of times per second, and the signal is repeated
6. What is bit error rate
Bit error rate (ber) is a very important test index to reflect the misidentification of barcode by scanning gun.Bit error rate is the ratio of the number of false identification to the total number of identification.For a bar code scanner, bit error rate is more important than "one time recognition rate".
